Just had a nice surprise when buying credit for my Movistar PAYG mobile, about a minute after topping up I received a text from Movistar telling me about a 4 for 1 offer. I bought 20€ of credit and recieved 60€ free, a total of 80€. I'm watching the TV now and it's being advertised till the end of the month.

Anyone who doesn't speak spanish, the procedure is, buy your credit as normal, call 1200 from your movil, listen for "cuatro por uno" press 1 then after a couple of seconds press 1 again.

Did you top up online or at a shop?

I did it too. The extra credit only goes towards calls to other Movistar lines but still, better than nowt. And about time.

It's calls to other Movistar moviles or to landlines.
