Hi

I'm looking to go back to the UK and was wondering where would be the best place to change Euro in to pound. Tenerife bank? Tenerife Post office? or UK bank.

Thanks.

When you say currency company do you mean the exchange cash points in the high street? Its been recommended to change the money in the UK as I'll get a better rate.

Check out a company call Hifx have used them to exchange Sterling to Euros and always get a good rate. They are London based and you can register online and do all the transactions yourself.

Hi

I'm looking to change Euro in to Pound to take back to the UK. Where would i get more for my money? Tenerife or UK? My Tenerife bank offered today €1.404 to GBP1.195 plus €13 commision. Changing at post offices and banks in the UK have said to have an 8% cut. Does that mean 8 pound from every 100 = GBP120 commision? If thats right I' be better to in Tenerife.

Any surggestions?

Thanks.

You would get the best rate by changing it with holidaymakers i would imagine with zero commision!
