Are there any rules about using a dinghy in Tenerife?

Just wondered if anyone knows if there are any rules about using a dinghy in tenerife? I'm assuming its ok to set off on them from the beach? I'm talking about the small ones you can get from the chinese todo shops. I just don't think i can remember ever seeing anyone using them.

I don´t know if there are any rules on using a blow up dinghy. However I don´t think I´d go out too far in one purchased from a Chinese todo shop if I were you :pray::) Unless you can blow air in faster than it can escape,:laugh: or you might be a feature on the next news item featuring a Guardia Civil helicopter

I think you also need a licence if it's oal is greater than 4 meters :tiphat: :tiphat:
