It looks as though Lidl in Las Chafiras has been ripped out maybe they are changing the layout but after only a few months???

It looked to me, yesterday, that they are extending.

I don't think they expected the Chafiras store to be that busy.

I have been using the San Isidro store lately, as I have to be there every day, and it is so much bigger and better, but not as busy

It is the poor relative compared to Adeje and San Isidro, lots smaller, and they have tried to rent the other bit at the back but nobody has taken it so maybe they are making it the same size as the other two that are much better than this one. :)

hi all,
Im heading to Laguna Park 1, San Eugenio on Sunday, can anyone direct me to the closest Lidl, is there one in walking distance, the plan is to walk to it and taxi it back, otherwise the closest supermarket is the Mercadona,in the San Eugenio Shopping complex,
Martha

the nearest would be Lidl in Adeje.... get the 460 bus at the station or outside San Eugenio Shopping Centre.... that,ll get you to Lidl in 10mins. 460 runs on the even hour every 2 hours ...i.e. 10..12...2...4...o,clock from Las Americas bus station..:)

If you mean Las Chafiras, then yes. It is now in the top of the car park.

A sign has gone up saying the Grand Reopening is at the end of July and as there is a lot of building work going on one can only guess they are extending.

Nah, numbnuts (am I allowed to say that?):whistle:

The old unused half of the building is now the new Lidl and they are working on the left side of the building which was the old Lidl and it appears that the 2 will be amalgamated by the end of July..:)

I'm not aware that it ever closed Atlantico. Just that they have moved the entrance to the side of the building. It's been business as usual. I take it the opening in July is referring to the new improved Lidl...
