Having amassed quite a few different language CDs , DVDs, books and computer programmes over many years - I have come across the Google Translate app for my Android Smartphone.

It is an amusing app that allows quick translation from many languages to a language of choice. The added bonus is that you can speak your word or sentence and have is read back to you in the translated language with an authentic accents.

You can do numbers easily. Simply put a comma in between the numbers (1,2,3,4,) to get the voice to read back the sequence slowly.

Google translate often gets a bad name, particularly when doing a reverse re-translate. I have however found that this app seems to perform better than the online Google Translate.

It also has a neat copy and paste feature to impress (??) your Facebook friends :D

Right - off to Subway to order a sandwich de polla with extra mayo (thanks DJD ;) )

Later............... ;)
