View Full Version : What is the speed limit on the motorways in Tenerife?

Has the speed limit changed back again. I am sure it was 110 when we were there in March. I noticed its 120 again.

Yes it was 110 for a few months but it's gone back to 120 again......

As a general rule, that is correct, but ALL the motorways do have areas where the restrictions are lower - watch for the signs.

Slightly off topic but concerning speed limits. The limits in many areas of Las Americas and Los Cristianos have been lowered from 40 to 30.

Pain in the bum I know but the police are stopping cars doing above 35.

You noticed exactly about the same speed limit after all this territory is not out of the boundaries of this planet so the laws are almost same.

Itīs back to 120 but nobody has told Tom Tom, my sat nav screams at me to slow down every time i am on the Motorway as it still thinks it should be 110!
