View Full Version : Health Urgent medical advice
Hi, just wondering if there are any doctors/nurses on the forum or anyone that has any knowledge on doctors clinics and hospitals in south Tenerife that can give me some information on where to go for a personal medical issue. Please pm me and will give you details privately. Thank you. Any help will be massively appreciated
Bekki make an appointment with Karen Wittaker, she is English and her surgery is under the Arona Gran Hotel. Last time I went to her the consultation fee was 30 euros but it may have gone up a bit, she is so easy to talk to.
Does she work weekends do u know or just during the week? Thanks Jackie

I highly recommend Dr Manuel, he charges between 30-50 € a home visit , he's really good with kids and he's English speaking too

If someone had really bad burns why would you bother wanting the dr to look ? surely you would go straight to the hospital i know i would have.
If someone had really bad burns why would you bother wanting the dr to look ? surely you would go straight to the hospital i know i would have.because my brother in law broke the bank to take them all on holiday and the doctor could have given us good advice for 30 euros, where as the stories i have heard about some of the hospitals charging hundreds and keeping you in under false pretenses are frightening, so unfortunately as sad as it sounds it came down to affordability, in the end the chemist in the safari centre gave the advice we needed for nothing and she healed well, and is now after 3 weeks fully recovered
