Hi i need to get another Bono Card from the Airport when we arrive , only have 30 minutes from landing to catch bus so need to get one quickly , the place i was told to go to last year did'nt sell them ! , so it was either wait another hour for a bus or pay the full fare as we had arranged to meet friends the other end we paid the full price , so this year i'd like to save some money and get a Bono card , so if anyone can tell where to get one from .

Thanks .

From arrivals , walk ALL the way down to departures - the last (small) shop on the right sells bonos .

From what I have gathered on this forum and elsewhere:
"You can purchase a Bono at Tenerife South Airport, currently at a shop called La Alpizpa located next to The Gift shop, about mid-way along the front hall, close to the Airport Information desk. If unsure, simply ask at the Airport Information desk for location."

"The Bonovia ticket is available at the South airport from the last shop at the departures end - La Alpizpa opposite gate 47. This is a daft place - it's over 2 minutes walk from arrivals to the shop and 2 minutes back to the bus stops! The shop is open 1000-1800. Telephone: 922-75 92 45"

I land at 6:25PM on Saturday so have the same problem as rob897.

Is there no-one you know in Tenerife who can purchase the Bono and mail it to you? Or even meet you at the airport?

Hi balcony
I thought of someone mailing it to us but there isn't emought time now. I land in 5 day's time. Plus I dont really know anyone there. I suppose I could have sent the money and my UK address to one of the lovely people in this forum - but I didn't think of that in time.

@Balcony if you're asking me that then unfortunately for us , No.

"The shop is open 1000-1800."

is that an up to date time im not sure, i cant find a website for the shop. i might phone them through skype (hoping they understand good english) . If no-one knows...

Added after 3 minutes:

it seems pretty silly opening times for an airport which is litreally open 24/7

It was open when I arrived in August -don´t see why it wouldn´t be now .
See above ,closes at 18:00.There is now an airport surcharge on fare of €1 for Reina Sofia to PDLA Bono fare is about €2.70!

thanks junglejim for the surcharge info.

We got the bus from TFS back to Los Cristianos on Tuesday after dropping off our hirecar at the airport and it was indeed €2.70 each.

We are picking our family up from the airport in the near future and will get the bus to the airport - does the surcharge apply for bus journies TO the airport or just from it ? Either way will need to get another Bono card !

Thanks Chris

According to their fare calculator it's both ways - says €2.90- from PDLA!

However, if you say you are going to next stop Granadilla , the fare drops to €1.90 ! It might look suspicious if you get on with suitcase though !
Let me know if you try it !

Thanks again Vortex for video , just a minor point - there is a discount for Bono but part of it is offset by"Tourist Tax" of 1 euro for entering airport zone !
