This is Oscar taking in the fresh air and having a siesta.
I wondered if anyone had experience of a dog with liver disease and what to look out for. I watch what he eats and check his poop which has had blood in it for a while but he is still a very happy boy. The vet thinks he is about 14, he was on the streets for a number of years before I took him in.
He was diagnosed in June the blood test (transaminasa GPT) should be up to 47u/l and Oscars was 97. Yesterday he was tested again and it was 457 u/l the vet says it is very bad and his liver medicine has been increased.
