I would just like to say a very big thankyou to 9 plus for giving us his advice & sorting my electrics out :thanx: I can highly recommend him.
On the other hand unfortunatly the same cant be said about Young Golfer whom I pm twice for advice on my house, finally getting a reply he arranged to meet I suggested a time, still awaiting a reply this was last Thursday.:mad:

I well understand that Tony I support many charities myself even the one last night ,but I emailed him beginning of last week twice !he eventually got back to me and arranged to meet me with CIM who I know. I sugested a time when asked to do so & he didnt reply obviously not needing the buisness .He was permenantly on the forum so could easily of accessed his pm & just said he wasnt interested .
In my opinion you look after your clients first otherwise there would be no money to support your charities.

Why pm, why not phone him direct instead? its not as if his contact details are not visable on his website, you are out of order slagging him off on a forum
without speaking to him first...............

Nothing more annoying than people who don't ring back or answer communications,,,,even if it is only to say "sorry there will be a little delay". Many companies learn this to late.

I know Stuart pretty well and we go back a good few years and I can hand on heart say he's the most genuine, honest and helpful bloke that I've met in Tenerife.
He goes out of his way to do things for others, often when he's never met the person before in his life.
Even if you're correct in what you have wrote, surely a week without further contact from YG isn't anywhere near long enough to warrant coming on a forum and publicly chastise?
I lived in Tenerife long enough to know that you are lucky if you hear back at all via email from companies, some are unprofessional, some are lazy, some not interested. None of those can be used to describe Stuart.
Anyway, like everybody on here you are allowed to voice your opinion, and people are allowed to make their own minds up when they read it. On this occasion I think your critic of YG is misplaced, and I would hope that most fair minded members on here would agree.

To answer the OP, I last spoke to you Wednesday am about taking your property on. Wednesday evening I had someone call up and tell me they wanted to buy an apartment off me in Los Cristianos. Cash buyer, full asking price and they were only here a few more days so I had a lot to do to get that finalised.
They become the priority over everything else (this unfortunately includes property take ons) and I worked on that the back end of last week. When ever i have a sale underway....... that is the priority as yours would be if i ended up selling it. i dont think too many owners would be happy if I lost them a sale because I was out in the back of beyond taking on a property which will in all fairness not be easy to sell due to the niche its in.
I had you pencilled in to my to do list this week but as i said to you in the office i work with other agents here in Tenerife and one of these agents specialise in rural property.......you wanted me to give you advice on your property and i thought bringing other agents along would of helped but it takes a lot longer to arrange 3 or 4 agents to meet up at the same time same place.
I lost a day yesterday as well as I had a lot on with the Charity event which became a lot bigger than I though it would.
It would have been nice of you to send me a gentle reminder before criticising me on a public forum but thats your choice. Its probably best if you take the property to another agent as we seem to have gotten off to quite a bad start for no good reason and I have just had another offer on a property today which will very likely be accepted so will be dealing with that now (again sales are a priority over property take ons.)
Best of luck with your sale though and I hope it goes well for you.

I wouldn't think the forum strange at all, Del ... just protective at the moment of a well regarded member, given the timing of the complaint.
In the six years I have been a member, I have seen exactly the same reaction at times :)

Or it could of been a cash receipt in the man of the houses name or even not paid pending materiales until our next meet up next year, A pending bank transfer or even a time scale issue.

Do you wanna bet !!!! The live arico shop is next door to YG office, I know how busy he is, and with him helping this couple in need I know how much MORE busy he has been over the past two weeks, I know from personal experience how this kind of thing can take ALL your time up.
The original poster must have been aware that he was deluged with work regarding this cause and has chosen to criticise him over an overlooked phone call...well I'm thankful that he amoungst others still dont have a me, me, me attitude when it comes to the crunch. There are obviously more than enough ME,ME,ME people out there already!!!

I don't think this falls under the ' bad service ' criteria Del. It has been 5 days, and even if some might call that too long, it in no way deserves to be put on an open forum as it has.
The fact that it is Stuart makes the comments even more strange as I have never met anyone with a bad word to say against him apart from a couple of posters who have moved on.
You on the otherhand are quite adept at joining in threads that you know to be a little contoversial. I'm sure you're enjoying this one an awful lot....
I feel sad about this Thread.

Young Golfer is a Person I have met, for long enough to know what a Nice Guy He is, and Carol MUST be a nice Person to be Ben's Wife
I personally cant understand why a Phone Call couldnt be made, if only to ask if He'd seen the E.Mail.?
Because of this a lot of People will remember and You will have to live it down.
I suggest You ring Him and say sorry. Y.G. being the Man He is may just be prepared to accept.
