Hi
I have been sent a document it has saved as .pdf Adobe Reader, I have gone through all the tabs and the help menu that says I can fill it in on screen but what ever I try I cannot make it let me put any info on it.
Does anyone know how to do this, but instructions would need to be simples!!! I can send on the form if needed.
Thanks
Lynne

This is what I've always believed, if the original has been designed to be a form you should be able to do this, but most PDF's are read only, so you can't edit. You'd need a paid/subscribed Pro version to do this. Adobe Reader is just a reader not editor

Try converting it to word online search "convert pdf to word online free" and after you fill it out look for a site to convert it back.

Or, print out the unfilled-in form.
Then fill it in by hand.
Then scan it and send it as an attachment to an email.

Thanks for all the help, I did try all the things everyone suggested but after 4 hours gave up and I have printed out all 22 pages filled it in and scanned it all and sent it back.
Polyremy had just finished doing it all when you wrote, just thought I was missing something simple on the screen to press to make the stupid computer do want I wanted it to do.
