Hi everyone,

Could anyone recommend a good English-speaking solicitor/lawyer in Puerto de la Cruz? We are looking to buy an appartment there, and would like the lawyer to handle the process.. Would anyone know how much we could expect to pay to the lawyer?

Just out of curiosity - are there many people here who bought a property without a lawyer? Dealing with an agency seems to be straight-forward enough here in Puerto, so the lawyer is in big part for our own peace of mind (and because we don't speak much Spanish and have heard many times how complicated Spanish legal system is :))

Any information is greatly appreciated (especially based on personal experience!)

its a good idea to have your own lawyer as not all agents are out for your interests. there are good and bad ones. if you have a good one they shouldnt mind if you get a lawyer in and youll have peace of mind. :)

I need a trustworthy lawyer to assist in the purchase of my apartment in Puerto. Can anyone recommend one?
Besides Spanish, he/she has to speak English, since I'm not fluent in Spanish.
Thanks
