Can anyone name this small village by the mountainside in North Tenerife?

It's below the Teno mountains I believe in the north-west of Tenerife. I'll feel a complete idiot when someone easily gets this but I've pored over the image at 100% and absolutely nothing is giving it away.

As I say, this was my first-ever visit to Tenerife and naming places outside major towns is proving difficult, especially streets (actually, I could do to know the name of the mountainous rod that the buses go up). Pity I didn't take a GPS with me actually.

I would hazard a guess at Garachico i am currently scanning google maps sat view trying to place the locations!

I need to get out more! :rolleyes:

If you look in the middle of the page you will see a street named Calle Virgin de Guia just above that there is a building with 7 very small squares on the roof, centre the page there and zoom in and that is the building with the grey roof in the centre of your pic. :)

It seems the village is called San Pedro de Daute. ;)

You can see the football pitch that is painted on the floor in front of the said building.

That's what I thought it might be but I couldn't place it. I did manage to get the other village which is La Caleta de Interián, though.

Here is a google streetview of the big brown building in the centre of your pic with the cream building with the red roof to the left, it is an area of Garachico. :)

I really really should get out more! lol
