yep scampies by the side of the compostella or the balu bar on san telmo? just down from the players lounge, my wife had fish and chips ther the other week and declared the home made chips the best she had ever had and the fish just melted in the mouth, also the mushy peas were the ones you have to soak overnight mmm proper!! just steer clear of the butter it smelt awful but we had a word with the pr who's the wife of the irish chef and she said they would change the supplier so maybe it's ok now?

Its at Pueblo Canario. If you walk along the sea front its above the Castle pub up the steps.

Had fish n chips a week ago not good mushy peas thick and horrible my mate asked for scampi n chips got prawns complained was told theyhad run out never told when she ordered,told to order something else but said she would eat too long a wait i left my fish n chips my mate wouldnt pay so only charged us for mugs of tea I come from a fishing town in england and i love my fish was really dissappointed now owned by the bloke who owned crispy cod and was also told regular chef off for the night !!!!!!

Pueblo Canario is the name of the area around the Gran Tinerfe, Castle Pub, Casino, etc.

Christies is in the same area, just up from the seafront.
Have a walk round, you'll soon find it. :)

I started a thread about SURFERS just down from Scampies . . . . . try Scampies fish, then try SURFERS . . . .you'll wish you went to SURFERS first !!

On the old forum there was a massive thread about Scampies, and it concluded that YES they were great a few years ago but had gone rapidly downhill from then on
