Scandinavian family nearly didn't make it back to their cruise ship
Read in the paper version of the Diario de Avisos
The paper had a cute story this morning about a Scandinavian family. 3 generations were having a drink in a bar whilst the mother and daughter went shopping in an oriental store in Santa Cruz. When the men finished their drinks they went towards the store and to their surprise the store was shut. The women were locked inside ghe store. The men didn't speak Spanish but eventually they managed to make themselves understood. A police patrol was located and went to find the owner of the store. The owner was retrieved opened the store and the family managed to reach their cruise ship before it sailed.
