Where can I get a Nexplanon implant removed in Tenerife?

Hi There,

I had the Nexplanon Contraceptive Implant fitted in the UK and it is due to be taken out in the next few months. Where would I go to get it removed in Tenerife? Can I get it removed in a hospital or do I have to go to a Sexual Health clinic like in the UK? I've only been living here for 6 months so I don't quite know how to go about it.

The New European Clinic in El Camison quoted me €90 to have one taken out....Tel 922 797 688.

My partner enquired with Karen a few months back about having one fitted and Karen said its not a thing they use here....sorry don't know much else but she maybe able to help you. She advised the injection which has to be done every 12 weeks at I think €30 each time if I remember!!
