Your link is different to mine. I tried yours and it asks you to install something, but I decided not to. I'm sure it's fine though.

On the one that I linked you just click on the programme that you want to watch and click play. Sometimes it's live, other times it's a repeat of what was on earlier.

I think the news would probably be quite useful (and it's on very often), because the newsreaders tend to speak in a more toned down way (not so much slang, but the accent is there of course) but when a reporter talks to people on the street you get to hear how people really talk. I know someone who learned spanish but when they went to Tenerife they were often confused. Words are often blurred and consonants are often missed out, and the words are sometimes different to mainland spain.

Yup - the dialect is known as Canarian Spanish. Some information on it is available at the Wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canarian_Spanish).
