How do I get to the Botanical Gardens from south Tenerife?

Hi Guys

Can anyone give the best way to get to the botanical gardens in Peurto del la Cruz. I dont have a car. Can I get there by bus?
Any advice? Im arriving on Wednesday, have to visit it this time. Have been there twicew this year and couldnt find it, so please help!

From the south of Tenerife there is a regular bus service that stops right out side the Botanical Gardens, also there is a bus service from the airport.
There is a scheme run by the Titsa bus company that allows you to buy a "Bono" card which gives you a great saving on fares.:)

Get a bus that takes you via the Botanico route to Puerto de la Cruz.

Photo One: When you´re nearly at the gardens you´ll see the long concrete wall of the gardens on your right, and that´s when you signal you want to get off the bus.

Photo Two: The bus will stop here on the right just opposite those pink buildings belonging to the Hotel Botanico.
You´ll also see the glass dome of the shopping center on your left. Get off there.

Photo Three: You´ll see the entrance to the Botanical Gardens on the right at the top of those stairs, across the street from another pink building where there are a group of cafes where it´s nice to have a drink or lunch.
