Which company do you use to make Mobile Calls to the UK from Tenerife?

I wouldn't use a mobile!! I'd use Skype which is something like 3 cents a minute any time of day.

I am quite new to the Forum and also new to using Skype. We will be in Tenerife in a couple of weeks and I thought I would take my iPad with me and use it to make Skype calls. HELP How do I go about it? We don't have wifi in our apartment. Do I buy some Skype credit before arrive in Tenerife and then buy a Pay as you go sim card? It would be great if someone could tell me.

There's plenty of PAYG SIM providers on the island, myself included (but we haven't officially launched the service yet). However, if you have an iPad then I'd suggest using Skype and any WiFi point you can access.

I have skype on my iphone, I always use it for UK calls, just buy credit before you travel. You can choose auto top up too. Way the cheapest service available.
