16 days and last night I printed out our Ryanair boarding passes, I know it does not mean anything as I shall still have to take pot-luck on getting the seats I want, but we are No1 and 2 on the printing of boarding passes, this has been the case for the last four years. Next time I will pay the extra and pre book seats of our choice.:)

Jim, we are staying at El Mirador, which our very good fiends have let us use over the last five years, my son and his wife and family are joining us for a week, as they also have good friends there.

Having family and friends in Tenerife is just great!!:)

Probably D6... Veronicas 2 there's a high concentration of late bars and clubs on this street, and probs €8-10 home for 4 peeps in taxi.
Also Starco across the road. Also walking against the traffic from Veronicas (one-way system along here), for 3-5 mins is the Patch area. A few nite-clubs and Irish corner. The Dubliner is a good spot---usually arrive between 1.00 --1.30am after many others have closed. It's one of the very late venues.

Dont do anything I wouldn't do. Stay safe with friends and enjoy Tenerife, it's a fab place. Also tons to do during the day., like water-park, (otherside of motorway to Orlando) and Loro Parque---up north (excursion trip) ENJOY!!!:wave:

Well the time has arrived. I'm coming to Tenerife on Thurs.
I frequent a bar down at peorto colon, called The Hop & Grapes. Its mainly for the older end, and used to be free and easy. The landlord was called Stuart, who played the keyboards, but allas he passed away last Christmas with cancer.

It was great down there they had plenty af singers getting up and he would plat untill way after 12 oclock untill all the singers had finished. Since he died someone else has taken over the bar. I guy called John, he used to be a club turn before he took over the bar.
They just do Karaoke there now but the good thing is, the same people are coming over, and all the singers are getting up still. As i mentioned it is mainly for the older end you don't get any teenagers in, and its not a bar that you woul take children in, especialy as it's down at the bottom of a steep hill.
Anyway i don't know if any members of this forum go in but if you want a good friendly atmospher with goo d singers this is for you.
By the way my name is Bob, and i'm in there every Wed and Sat and yes i get up and do my spot. Thanks

There is a Prom from Los Cristianos via Las Americas to Torviscas. and a Bus Service if walking isnt Your thing.

Dont go out with a lot of Money, and remember its a Foreign Country with a different set of rules.

English is spoken most Places.
Its a great Place with some nice People of many Nationalities..

We have chosen our piece of land too. On Avenida de Amsterdam, just behind Paramount - been empty for years. We could have a massive villa and pool and some outlying apartments for family and friends (including you marbro8). Just need Camelot to come up trumps!!!
