We are in Tenerife in March, also booked for June & September with Ryanair from Birmingham Depart 14.25 not silly 06.00, £239 return for both of us.

They must be doing something right in Tenerife as we have booked for April/May - August - and again for October....all Ryanair flights from Prestwick....but all silly 6:30 am flights, which means we don't lose a day of our holidays!:c2:

Lucky devil. Just booked a cheeky few days 4-8 Feb. can't wait for a bit of warmth.
We won't be back out until some time in September for a week :(
But before that there's a trip to Monaco for the F1 GP and two weeks in Croatia to look forward to :)

Oh lovely. We've booked F1 Singapore in Sept. Hubby's got a significant birthday.

Singapore sounds like fun. The night races there are always a favourite to watch on TV.
Usually Monaco is one I'm less keen on watching being a street circuit, but hopefully being there in person will make it something special.

Yes we visited last year on way back from NZ and loved the place. Tickets for unlimited walkabout for the 3 days is only just over £200 each.
Only problem with Singapore is the humid days. Night racing be better.
Fancied Monaco too.

If you ever go to the Monaco Grand Prix, be prepared to mortgage your home for your expenses while there, a can of Coke on average is about €6 and a ice cream is about €15. One restaurant we went to it was €40 for a coke....needlessly to say someone else was paying for our meal and accommodation.

I think I have had two bites in ten days with little effect. Another day in the British Virgin Islands tomorrow and then on to St Barts sailing at about 2200 hrs. Some big fish around the boat tonight so I've decided to do some fishing when I get to St Barts on Saturday.[emoji2][emoji6]

Both destinations are fantastic. In Dubai I stopped at the One and Only Royal Mirage....it was superb!

We did Singapore last year, loved it. Couldn't get in same hotel for Sept which is in the Marina Bay Area, wanted £300 a night. One we've settled on is only a 10 min walk from hotel to F1 circuit.
Dubai hotel got a really good deal on Late Luxury which is a sister company to Late Rooms.

4 weeks, so we must overlap by a couple of weeks, I'm not sure about Angusjim's plans. I did have the pleasure of his company 2 or 3 times when he was out the first week of Jan and the weather was definitely cooler that week [emoji45]

I believe for weather reasons his release of his next years dates are more popular than those of Easyjet & Ryanair put together............in fact I would imagine both airlines are equally desperate for his announcements so they can factor in the drop in demand.....:laugh:

For those of you who don't know the "Swan" don't worry as you won't be missing a good night out... I think there were about 30 of us forum members who booked a night there with food and the owners wanted us to be on the roof terrace where I think there were two tables and about ten chairs....never to return!!
Should be out Weds but depends on progress of my poorly doggy.

Had a bleed in his abdomen Thurs, had emergency surgery Fri am and had to have spleen taken out as was infected and not doing its job.
He's on the mend but vet said it be 4/6 weeks before he'll be fighting fit again. Uncle comes to dog/cat and house sit and does a fab job but not sure want to leave him. Very weak and he's having to be fed light food every 3/4 hours, like having a baby in house.

A slice of warm Stornaway Black Pudding on a small bed of salad with a good salad dressing, topped with a poached egg...a classic easy starter to any meal. People who have said that they hate black pudding are surprised that they suddenly like it.
Definitely fried or grilled Clootie Dumpling with a fried breakfast.
I always freeze a black pudding to take to one of marbro8 's cousins on the El Mirador Complex and it's still frozen on arrival at the apartment, that will be in 65 Days Time..:)

25 hours away now, can't wait....only going to the Commodoro in LC, but for the price we paid, it is ideal, was there last March..I just have to go to work today and get it over with quickly, but I know it will drag.....then get home, have a bath, sort paperwork,passports and suitcases out, then up to Gatwick for a few cold beers;).. I hope it's lovely and warm there,(not Gatwick, Tenerife I mean);).
Take care and have a giggle.
