Spring is here already - This morning's garden January 7, 2010.

Despite a forecast for possible rain today and snow arriving on Teide it is a beautiful morning and I was surprised to see our peach tree beginning to blossom.

It's nearly time to prune the roses but they are doing so well in this cooler winter weather.
This one is a Spanish rose called Rose Dot from the breeder Pedro Dot.
It is a creamy pink colour on the underside of the petals and dark pink on top.

And the pink brugmansia is looking lovely today against the deep blue sky.

I like the sound of that word 'Spring' - Canarybird :) - superb photos as usual, I can almost smell that beautiful red rose :)
