Carnaval 2012 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Wednesday, February 15th, 2012: Gala for the Election of the Carnaval Queen . This spectacular event is best seen on TV, from 9 p.m.
Friday, February 17th, 2012: Opening Parade , usually from 8 p.m.
Tuesday, February 21st, 2012: Main Parade , from 4 p.m.
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012: Burial of the Sardine 9 p.m.
Saturday, February 25th, 2012: Daytime Carnaval 1 p.m. onwards.
Sunday, February 26th, 2012: Parade of Vintage Cars 10 a.m. onwards.

22nd February: Funeral of the Sardine
24th February: Men´s Marathon in High Heels

Just had information from a friend working with Costa Adeje Tourism that the Los Cristianos Carnival dates will be from 3rd to 11th of March.
