This part is purely for the ferry crossings as I will cover the driving part in another thread.

Anyone that had done this trip, what crossing did you use, how much did it cost, how long was the crossing, what facilities were on the boat? Any other information that you have that may be of use I would be interested in that too.

Many thanks

We did the crossing from Huelva to Santa Cruz as we found it to be cheaper and a shorter crossing than from Cadiz.

The crossing (I think) was about 36 hours and cost 75 euros per person and 150 euros for the car but it may have changed

We opted not to have a room on board as it was so expensive compared to the crossing itself. There were alot of people doing the same. Facilities on board were better than expected, there was a main restaurant, a pool side bar and internal bar. They showed films throughout the day and there is also a kids area.
