I'm looking for a snazzy new entertainment system for my car. Something like:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-4-Dash-DVD-Player-CD-iPod-Bluetooth-Car-Stereo-Radio-Touchscreen-/350526338898?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item519cff7752#ht_9425wt_1139

Bluetooth, usb, sat nav, touch screen etc.

Is there anywhere in the south that does this sort of kit and fits it?

The Auto fitting shop next to the Auction House may be one. Also there is an Auto electrician on the side lane beside Renault at Guaza but doubt they will have anything of this sort.

I agree with Techno Timmy, Autodecoracion by the auction house it probably your best bet however they are ridiculously expensive when it comes to installation, i would find something on the internet that you want and then head down to Guaza and see what they can get for you.

If you turn towards the Renault Service Dept the autoelectricians is the last locale on the left.

They are much cheaper and i have found them better service. :)

I will see if I can buy the kit off the net and have them fit it in Guaza. Seems the best option unless anyone has any better ideas.

Simon , do remember that kit via eBay from China can be void of any real warranty i.e. you pay all postage costs if faulty .
I have dealt with such equipment and found poor reliability and poor user interface/functionality.
I do what has been suggested and buy locally .

So... that's 500 quid for a new system or 20K for a new car. :) Uhm...decisions...decisions....can anyone help me with the maths. Looks a bit complicated.

But modern cars are typically 5 years late with new technology such as cheap GPS mapping updates, Speed camera database, MP3 USB, iPod control etc ...............

For USB Music, headphone in audio, iPod control, Bluetooth phone, Bluetooth stereo audio - The Parrot 9100 is a good option. No need to replace the car hifi - even have one fitted in the first place as the Parrot has its own audio amplifiers.
