It's 12.5°C right now in Pto. de la Cruz in the north at 8:08 am on my outside windowsill, but clear and almost cloudless.

Just wondered how high you are above sea level (at your house).
Hoping against hope that it will be warmer than that in Puerto town itself.
And of course it will be warmer by lunch time anyway!
Fingers crossed - but bringing the umbrella anyway.
Please do keep updating if you get the time.

We're up in La Paz, near Hotel Botanico. At the moment (9:30 am) there's brilliant sunshine and blue sky.

My thermometer now reads 14.2°C but it's in the shade in our garden.

Of course if you stand in the sun it feels warmer and it could be a degree or two warmer down in the town.

My case is still empty.
Can't decide what to pack.
Nothing worse than being cold is there.
On the other hand, don't really possess any presentable longsleeved stuff.
Will leave it another hour.

I live near Canarybird have just been out in a cotton 3/4 length sleeve tshirt and was fine. The sun is shining brightly as Canarybird said and I think it will warm up, very little wind at the moment. But it is usually warmer in town .

Thanks to both of you.
That really helps.
Please let me know if there's any dramatic change.
Feeling a bit more enthusiastic about the trip now.

Sorry polremy....it's now 1:18 pm and the sky is completely overcast with grey clouds.

There's a change in the air.

Just got back and had a fabulous time.
Yes, it did rain on Thursday and yes it was cold.
However, we spent the evening eating at El Monastario - superb food and drink and company complete with personalised cake for the birthday boy. To be recommended, especially the hot stone menu.
But.........yesterday (Friday) was absolutely perfect.
Wasted the day just wandering aimlessly around Puerto and enjoyed a paella from one of the "vans" just by the harbour.
Evening meal at the Italian restaurant cut into the rocks.
The Monopol is a great hotel - very relaxing in a sort of faded grandeur kind of way.
Back on the Golf five minutes ago and, although it's nice to be home, that wind is still howling!!
Thanks for all the weather forecasts.
