MM, you can watch the whole programme on 4oD for the next week! I missed the beginning and then discovered that my Sky+ refused to record it. However, I have no doubt that it will be on again, or on E4 or More 4 until we all become thoroughly sick of it and go back to looking at the webcams again!! How sad are we (or is it only me?)

They showed my complex at the beginning of the show...but not any of the houses being viewed as they would be too small for the couple's needs! Don't blame them for not entertaining that corner villa in Torviscas! Horses for courses I suppose!

This villa in my opinion could be made into something really fabulous with the right buyer,it really is a big house,ive cleaned it a few times now,once without water or electricity.............not easy, and with some TLC this villa could be made into something really lovely

Met this couple for a hour or two and a few guys i work with spent alot of time with the TV show helping them find this couple the right property....must say the TV guys loved the villa and i am sure it might go soon.
I showed them a property after they finished filming and they liked the one i showed them more than the rest but they wanted to stay in the property for a month as a trail to see if they liked it..but that is not something the owner wanted to do and i have never heard of this before here in Tenerife.....plus the fact they never put in a offer.
Will keep you up todate on this couple IF they decide to buy but i got the feeling that they wanted a good size property below the motorway very close to the beach in Torviscas which is not that easy to find for their budget.
Have also got to add that it's nice that our own forum member had his for FORSALE sign on the property for all to see well done CIM.

A strange post why is it not a disirable location.....i have been there a few times very peaceful and quite no traffic,neighbours seem nice and only a short trip to the airport and right on the doorstep of Las Chafiras.I can think of a few areas a lot less desirable than this.

Would also like to say the TV show today was good showing off some of the great attractions like M Tiede with 5 million visitors a year nice to see some of the positive parts of Tenerife being shown on TV.

You can only watch Channel Four if you have a UK VPN (which you can buy at TF Forum). In other words they think you are in the Uk.

Regards programme; quite interesting. For me without doubt the best place was the last one at Torviscas Alto. The man was a fussy upper crust unlikeable character I found. His wife was a very nice sensible down to earth woman and the presenter...wow. :)

Personally I would´nt buy anywhere south of the Guaza Mountain.

Anyway, another good advert for Tenerife after last weeks Channel 5 show "Holiday Heaven on Earth".

According to the Radio Times they are on on Tuesday 16th at 5.45pm (6.45 for More 4 +1) for the one about South Tenerife.
The North Tenerife programme is on Friday 19th at 5.50pm (6.50 for More 4 +1). Check the times in the paper or your own choice of listings magazine just in case the times have altered! Enjoy!!

Well, would you buy on the spur of the moment after a five minute inspection and with no exploration of the surrounding area? Also, their idea of a sea view and mine definitely do not agree. A row of houses/villas with a glimpse of the sea in the distance is not a sea view - it's a sea glimpse view.

I had this couple as clients at the end of the show and he liked what I showed him but then he seem to like everything lol. He wanted to stay in a property for a month to get the feel of it before he put in a offer I said that's not possible as it's up for Sale not Rent.
Never heard from them again.
I guess people like the thought of being on TV more than buying property that's the take I have on shows like this.

Lol - you know I have seen so many of them - Place in the Sun, Place in the Sun - home and away, Place in the Sun - winter sun etc etc and I have honestly spotted the same people on different programmes at least 3 times - sad I know that I have watched so many but I think it confirms your theory re 10 mins of fame. I had this couple as clients at the end of the show and he liked what I showed him but then he seem to like everything lol. He wanted to stay in a property for a month to get the feel of it before he put in a offer I said that's not possible as it's up for Sale not Rent.
Never heard from them again.
I guess people like the thought of being on TV more than buying property that's the take I have on shows like this.
