Huge appetite for Diners Club

i thought i would try the new dining club on saturday, although i went alone i had an idea i would know a few people from the last dining club. there were more than 30 people, about 8 couples and the rest like me singles, a good balance of male and females ranging from 30-70 years just wanting to enjoy an evening socialising with each other. the food was varied a choice of six hot or cold starters. i had melon with serano ham it was very good the melon was just ripe e a choice of six or seven starter inc fish and meat and vegetarian dishes which came with canarian potatoes veg and even chips and to finish the meal a choice of deserts. the price 10.50 per person which included half bottle of wine per person, i was expecting a bog standard table wine but was suprised this was a good bottle of wine.
all in all i had a good evening met old and new friends. nancy hall the organiser hovered around like a butterfly ensuring everybody was happy.
i shall be doing an action replay next week.

hi carole i was also at the dining club on saturday evening but i went with a friend as i had not been to the previous one and did not know what to expect but in future i would not hesitate to go alone as it was very friendly and agree it was excellent, and am looking forwrd to next saturday.

Could one of the mods put a sticky on this as the local paper is looking for big bucks to advertise it. Sure it would be of interest to forum members. The cost is 11 euro for 3 course and wine. Need to book a few days before Saturdays. Pm me and i will send phone number of organiser

12 euros for a 3 course meal, half bottle of wine, water inc. cant fault the price good company, after some went to the new cocktail bar above and a few of us went clubing. just woken up and cooked myself an english breakfast, catch up on emails watch a bit of tv then back bed.
