Does anybody know what number bus goes from Playa De Las Americas to the CC GranSur?

Planning a holiday to Las Americas in April, and would like to know in advance whether it's best to catch a bus, or use a taxi? It says to be between 7-11 minutes to arrive at the GranSur from where I am planning on staying if you travel by car (taxi)?

Also, how much would each cost?

Any help would be appreciated.

From airport a Taxi will be €25 and take 15 mins.
A bus 111 to PDLA bus station is €1.60 with Bono ticket then change onto any bus on sea side of bus station - 2 stops ( transfer is free with Bono) 2 stops gets you to Miraverde Complex - Gran Sur is back up hill over motorway.
Bono ticket can be purchased inside airport at little souvenir shop across from central information at departure end of airport .See link

Bus stop is directly outside arrivals - bus is every 30 mins. 20 mins past hour and 10 mins. before hour.

Where abouts in Playa de Las Americas will you be staying..?
if you could be more precise, CC Gran Sur is in Torviscas (alto) though some say its still Las Americas ..../Fañabe ...

I will be staying in the Caribe Apartments hopefully...
I've tried it on all sorts of maps and it says by car it takes 7 mins, and 22 mins via bus
So if we have quite a slow, non-rushed kind of day, we might decide to either walk or take the bus, so I was wondering what number to catch to ensure I get right by the GranSur?

Would a taxi cost even less from the apartments as its so close?

It does say it's only a 30 min walk as well but when I check on google maps it warns me that there may not be any pavements, but if you are able to walk all the way there then I will probably do that.

Thanks

Come out of the Caribe apartments turn right..
up to the end of the road (Miami Bar)and go straight across the grassed and tree area ahead of you..(pathway)..
walking along you should now pass the Magma Centre then the Bus Station on your right..
continue along now passing the Garahonay Hospital..
cross the road at the zebra crossing after the hospital..
carry on along this side of the road..
next is the San Eugenio shopping centre after the roundabout..go past the shopping centre..
carry on along that side and walk as far as you can passing Laguna Park 1 apartments...
cross the bridge over the TF1 and turn left..
walk as far as you can on that road,..
to your right and ahead is the CC Gran Sur....
hope this helps ....

If I´m understanding you - you are staying in the Caribe apartments at Las Terrasas ?
If that´s the case there is a bus stop directly opposite just before bus station in PDLA .

I don´t understand why you say you´re staying at Gran Sur which is a shopping complex ?
The Caribe Apartments are 5 minutes walk from the bus station and directly opposite the police station (Commisaria)

Thanks for the help everyone, but been looking at Google Maps today and realised there's a pathway all the way from the Caribe to the Gran Sur, so may as well walk there, seeing as its a holiday and I'm there for the sun mostly.

OOPS! Misread that !! Thanks for correction Vortex !
However the bus stop is right across road from Caribe and all buses bar 111,110 go to Miraverde for €1.20 - save time for nicer walks and bars !
