Hello.

We recently moved to Tenerife and are looking at getting our 3 year old into school. We will most likely be putting him into Los Abrigos. We are still busy sorting out papaerwork etc.
Just one question though with regards to the summer. I understand the school breaks up in June and the kids return to school in September. What do the parents do regarding the kids if they work? Are we able to put him into some kind of summer school? Do these exist?
Any info would be great.

Kind Regards.

My wife runs a small British school in Callao Salvaje called Callao Learning Centre, website is here (http://www.callaolearning.org) we are planning to run activities right through the Easter and Summer Holidays. My wife is teaching at the moment, but I will get her to reply to you with more information later.

We are planning summer activities for children, 4 -12, in our school in Callao Salvaje. €20 per day, or €90 per week with meals, from 10 - 3 daily. This will include PE, sports, art & craft, music and life skills as well as keeping up with some English & Maths skills. If you look at our facebook pages you will see some of the activities the children completed over the half term break. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Callao-Learning-Centre/170026159755029

Struggle

Most Town halls run some sort of summer club
I always tried to find a class like Mrs Teddys as it was great to reinforce their English
Up to 6 most nursery Schools will take summer children
