I am trying to find this parasol which attaches to a sunlounger or similar, Ikea have them in UK for about 6 quid (perfect for my use) but not in the Tenerife store, have hunted around but cannot find one 308308....Please let me know if you see one on your shopping travels! Thanks!;)

Hi Obs! thanks for your reply, I am very wary to order off the internet. I know so many do but the only thing I ever ordered it cost a fortune in shipping:( might have to chance it if I can´t find one in a shop here!

I buy from Amazon all the time Suej, and touch wood, no problems as yet. Also, many items qualify for free postage. You have to spend a minimum amount (about £25.00) to get it. Just buy a couple more items eg a book or dvd to build the price up.

Good luck, whichever way you go. You will probably find them on the island anyway. :)

Do you just put your address as Spain and omit Canary Islands?

Have you tried in shops selling children's prams and push chairs. I think the parasol was originally designed to fix on them.

I bought a plain coloured one in one of the Chinese shops, next to the back entrance of Mercadona in Las Chafiras.I think it was 5 euros.

Wey Hey!:jumping: with a screw fixing for a sunlounger? the only ones I´ve seen are the beach type with a point at the base to put into the sand....Could you tell me if you bought it this year? Thanks soooo much!
