How can I get proof of residence in Tenerife without a contract?

im trying to get my nie but having a nghtmare i have been living in the same apartment now for about 7 months and do not have a contract how can i prove where i am living to the police.

no i do not get any kind of mail in my name that says this address

someone please have a answer for me as its doing my head right in

You can get a certificate of convivencia where a local police Man will come to your house and ask to see your passport and later issue a certificate
