Are all the banks in Tenerife closed for the Easter holidays?

Most banks are closed until Tuesday I believe, I called my bank and they told me that this morning...

Bank Holiday tomorrow just a normal day on Monday........................Sorry if I got this wrong but was told Monday is a normal working day, just don't understand holidays in Tenerife.:doh:

Mercadona in Cabo Blanco was closed today!???

Today is a Bank Holiday but most places have been open , ie Lidl , Iceland , etc plus many other types of businesses , although not Hacienda , Social etc.All will( should ) be closed tommorrow Friday but open as normal Monday as they do not celebrate Easter Monday here as they do in the UK.
If you have a Spanish Calander it usually show the main Bankholidays on there in bold .
