View Full Version : FOUND! : Please help me find my father who went missing in Las Americas today
Hi,
My elderly father went missing in Tenerife today (Fri 6th April) at about 3pm. He had just been to dialysis in the green hospital in Playa de las americas and so would be extremely weak and disoriented. He was due to get a taxi back to the hotel he is staying in but we are not sure if he got into a taxi. He is an irish man with grey hair, and his name is Henry. He would be in desperate need of sustenance after his dialysis. If anybody sees him please inform the police of his whereabouts.

what area is he in?what hotels he supposed to be heading for?
Do you have a photo of your dad and then perhaps those on FB can put it there as well.
His route would have been from the hospital 'hospiten sur' to his hotel a few blocks away called H 10 las palmeras, in playa de las americas. He was last seen at 1pm, rather than 3pm.

After Dialysis, did anyone accompany Him to a Taxi.?
Or was one called and Who/where was it..?
Daft question.............. Could He remember the Name of the Hotel..?

Hotel was H10 Las Palmeras - many thanks. if you have any other medium of distributing the image it would be a great help.
not confirmed if he got into taxi after leaving hospital or not so if he didnt he may still be around hospital grounds..
can be sure if he will be in a good enough state to remember hotel.. thanks

This may be a silly suggestion but have you checked with the hospital to see if perhaps he has been admitted? Hope you get good news soon.

I have printed some off, i will cover the patch area on my way down there, dont worry we will find him xxx
there is a slight chance he could have gone into a bar... but again he wont be in the best shape but worth a shot.. i have looked at some bar websites to see if they have webcam but most dont..

This may be nothing ofcourse but I saw a grey haired man walking up the road (200m above Hiper Trebol) on the way out of Los Cristianos about 5pm this afternoon. I tell you why he caught my eye, because he had a bandage around his left wrist (as if he had just left hospital).
I donīt want to throw you off the trail but I hope it may help.

When u have had a Dialysis session, it does make you very weak, and sometimes u can be confused.
I would imagine that perhaps he never got in the Taxi and started to walk to god knows where.
The big giveaway will be the bandage on his arm, but he needs to be found and quick, before he does
any harm to himself.
Sorry I know all this because I spent 8 years on Dialysis, and 3 months in the Green Clinic, and no one accompanys
you out after yr session.
Would concentrate the search in the local walking area, bars etc ........ poor man, and he is in a strange country.

I am having trouble sending back Pmīs. You asked about the age of the person I saw. Very difficlut to say but between 60-65. He was walking ok. As I said I donīt want to send you off trail but Chayofa is first place you come to up that road with quite a few bars there. Maybe there is someone on the forum that lives up there that can have a quick look around?ŋ

Sorry, did not see this mans face as I was driving.
But to recap; Age 60-65, walking on the inside road (no traffic use) on the right side going Up the hill, about halfway to the top roundabout, walking steadily, bandage on lower left arm.
I am happy to help but that is really all I know.

he has been found in Los Cristianos by chance by some friends.... pure good fortune that they spotted him.. thank god..

Its great you found him, just to let everyone know, when i took the pictures round the area, a lot of people were aware already and were on the look out. Its good to know the network is working and if anyone gets into difficulty there are people over here willing to help out xx
