A little bit of fun;

If you won the Euromillions this Friday, which house currently for sale in Tenerife would you buy. Give your reasons, view, isolation, guests etc. and lets see what ticks people's boxes.

Not sure what is available but for me it would HAVE to be a front line villa with a pool, access to the beach and not overlooked.

It would also have to be within staggering distance of some good bars and restaurants - oh what a lovely thought!

I like both of the following, good views (most important for me) couple of spare rooms and a pool.

I would be buying Property Here first

When I decided what Could be afforded, I would book a Package Holiday, contact certain Forum Members to start My search.

Detached with Garden and Garage preferably.
Four Bedrooms with probably a Sea View .

A self contained Flat for Visitorswould be a bonus.

Location would be subject to availability, but not too far off the beaten track.

It would have to be in the South, preferably Adeje or Arona area.
I wouldnt dream of buying from Pictures only, its surprising WHAT can be left out.

Looks like Liberaces house. Still, it would be a boring world if we were all the same!

Sorry - this one seems a bit cold and impersonal to me.......more like a hotel - but each to one's own!

That's a great answer. I'm not sure my dream home exists so what I would do would be to do up the one I'm living in with no expense spared at all. Which would make a big difference. And then, breaking the rules, I'd like to buy a place in the UK to go back to for a bit of shopping every now and then.

wow like the one with the beach bar:yum:, but where is it in relation to los cris? and the 10 mill one well what a dream:c2:, but it would all depend on how much you won, if i won 10 mill i could not justify spending it on one villa, it would be all kippers and curtains lol, if i won about 4 mill then i would spend about 1 mill on a property, maybe the one on c.i.m's website next to adeje golf course the 4 bed with all the gallery's,(sorry don't know how to do links) it's on the market for 1.300 million euros, got to look after fam and friends and have enough to retire on as well, but if i won 75 mill then i would buy land beachfront and build my own using oz and dennis as the brickies barry as my electrician neville as the chippy and moxy could do the plastering lol:D

Los Menores is about 15 mins by car from PDLA near Callao Salvaje. After I win the lottery this Friday (43 mil) I will treat you to a drink at my "Private Beach bar"

An alternative would be that run-down villa with all the arches on the beachfront at Los Cristianos. You can see that it once had a wonderful garden with palms and exotic plants. It so badly needs rescuing but I believe it will never be for sale due to a family feud.
As long as there are the basic rooms in my dream house I really want to live outside under a terrace of vines and bougainvillea with barbecue, table, chairs, hammock, view, easel and paints....and maybe a TV! The bigger the house the more cleaning and cucuracha!!

I haven't got a dream home as much as a "dream" of owning a humungous plot of land (OH always laughs when I say i'd like a 20,000 sqm plot of land) right on the sea front... with a small house with a smaller annex (for family) .... just being able to afford to live somewhere where you can't hear neighbours tv's, kids, dogs and other antics would, to me, be absolute bliss.... and like they say, you've gotta be in it to win it, and so far our winnings has outweighed the expenditure so for us it's been worth being innit, innit :spin: but we've never won enough to be able to retire :)

I also love that run-down villa on Los Cristianos beachfront & it would be fantastic to see it done up. Wouldn't like to live there though as there are too many tourists passing by, too noisy, although it would be great to live right on the beach.
