As you come off the motorway at Parque De La Reina and go towards the go karts ... at the roundabout there on the right hand side is what looks like a derelict white fort or something. What is it? Who owns it?

So a bullring without spectators :) ... Seriously... I have no idea but the plot seems to be too small for that.

Cim and Young Golfer have it on their books, and may even be prepared to reduce the comission:whistle:

The internal diameter of the covered building (spectators?) is 21m, the uncovered ring (practice area?) is 30+m internal diameter... it could be a small bullring Simon.

Bullring YEAH BUDDY

Small bullring for small bulls it was a tourist mounted excursion they used to give them Sangria and a bit of a show, they were happy.

The last fight the owners used to send out a donkey as a humor stunt (Canarian humor albeit)

By all account a good couple of hours out

So thats 50% of the question answered? Where can I find out who owns it?

I don't speak Spanish so I couldn't translate the contents...Try here "Del Registro de la Propiedad" for Tenerife. Land number would appear to be 01006420...

I managed to get the certificate of the land. It is stated as Agrarian (agrario) I thought this was agricultural but it turns out that it does not mean that.

I thought it was once for the training of Lucha...amazed about the Bullring.

There is an extraordinarily grand and unusual villa on the opposite corner diagonally I think. I'd like that one!

i'm wondering if it was going to be a shopping centre for the area when they built all the first apartment blocks there?..... though the lucha Canaria idea sounds quite feasable....

the one with all the huge trees? i think i've just seen that on the other post here about your dream property.... now if they just uprooted the whole lot, with villas and moved it down to the coast, i'd have that.... mind you, i'd need a slightly humungous win on the lottery first :D

O thanks. It wasnt nice to see and I imagine most holiday makers wouldn't want to see it. In answer to the original question I don't know what it is either. Although I must pass it on the bus!

Are there any old photos around the net or that people have with this building in operation? When did it fall into disrepair? Bull fighting (if it is a bull ring) has been banned in the Canaries for 20 plus years. Any info on this anywhere?

It's like the balloon that used to be opposite parque de la paz, it's nearly impossible to get any info on it from the web apart from a wee blurred photograph, and thats only been closed a few years (7 or 8?).

It is owned by Igara ( who are struggling ) and the landlord of our old premises was going to buy it.It apparently has planning permission for a petrol station which is what he was going to do there but the deal fell through at the last minute.
