Information needed about playing night golf in Las Americas, Tenerife

My in-laws are here and are staying at Compostela Beach Golf Resort.

Last night the staff on the course erected lights all along the fairways at about 7pm, and a large group of, what my father in law said, looked like professional golfers started to play at about midnight.

Just wondered if anyone knows anything about it

I would have liked to have seen it myself, apparently they put flares along the sides of the fairways, and the lighting was so intense, they were able to play with a normal white golf ball, rather than a fluorescent one .....
