Can anyone give any advice on funding / grants etc available for returning to UK university if my daughter is a resident in Spain with British nationality. I was informed that there is a grant if she is to study for a degree that is not available locally-would anyone have any more information on this.

Thanks

AS I understood it grants ( becas) are only available for study within the Canary Islands. This was certainly the case when my daughter left school .Why dont you contact the department of Education in Santa Cruz or ask at the school she is currently at.
Good luck

There are various thoughts there
She can get a student loan in the UK for educación what ever. If she declares she is resident in the UK before the course started she can also Claim living allowance which is income related and they will require tax papers
There is a tax break for studying off the island for parents but the course has to be unavailable here. How different it needs to be our accountant wasnt to clear in but we decided we couldn't claim for it.
Student loans are paid back slowly after you begin to earn 20,000 pounds.
If I can help any more PM me or ask here
The Spanish beca system is only available to study in Spain
