Have tried out the translator on the 123teachme site, and comparing the results, I got more accurate translations using this than with the Bing or Google translators.

I like 123teachme site, think it's very good & if you have them on Facebook they give you little grammatical exercises to do most days which is quite good. Reverso is also an excellent site - you can type in a Spanish word & get it translated to English, with various examples of how it is used in sentences, or you can type in an English word & it will translate to Spanish. Here's the link - http://dictionary.reverso.net/spanish-english/

Thank you for this.. we've been trying to learn Spanish for about a year now. We have picked up some words, but we have difficulty with the way it should sound and pronunciations. Spanish people especially if they don't speak English just look at use like we're mad!!!!
We're going to give the 123teachme and the dictionary reverso ago and hopefully we'll be able to correspond better!!

I found BBC Language web site good, Spanish Steps there works through many everyday situations(hotel, taxi etc) and has revision and self test interactive sounds Found the pronunciation particularly helpful as how word is written and how should be said are of course often much different

What a fantastic site for practicing.
I think Rosetta Stone courses are very good too, but you need to get an original one ..... the copies don't work well. They are really good value for money.

If you really want to learn Spanish, you will spend less time (and money) if you use an actual teacher who is spanish. I am learning Spanish with www.yourspanishonline.com at the moment and I have improved so much in a short space of time!
