Now that a play off place is assured :c2: can anyone shed any light on who we will play and if we'll be home/away in which leg if we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

These are the teams already qualified;

CD Tenerife
Real Madrid Castilla
Lugo
Mirandés
Ponferradina
Eibar
Atlético Baleares
Orihuela
Cádiz
Linense
Lucena
Real Jaen

Teams dependant on last day scores

Albacete
Oviedo
Atlético B
Amorebieta
Alavés
Huracán
CF Badalona
Llagostera
Hospitalet
Lleida

If we do manage to finish 2nd in table we will play the 4th placed team from another region. 1st leg away and 2nd at home (so should mean an advantage). Draw will be made next Monday May 14th at midday.

Cheers.

If 2nd plays 4th and winners are not involved in 1st play off stage I take it the 3rd placed teams from different divisions play each other? Is it a straight draw to see who is at home/away 1st leg?

My understanding is that the 3rd placed teams from each league willplay each other in a straight draw. Always two legs in Spain.

League Winners play a two legged final, winners of those game goes directly up to 2nd division. Losers go back into the play-offs.

Understanding it all might be our biggest problem!

This may well be as listening to the president of the Canarian football federation the rules have changed slightly and it would seem that after the first round we might get a team from our group.
The draw is one round at a time so next Monday we will only know the first round. There is no winner of game one plays.....

The club have not commented yet.
Although given their financial position I would guess they will charge something.

Cuartos de Final - Ida (20/05/2012)
20/05 Albacete Balompié - Orihuela CF
20/05 CF Badalona - CD Tenerife
20/05 SD Amorebieta - RB Linense
20/05 Real Jaén CF - SD Ponferradina
20/05 Huracán Valencia CF - Lucena CF
20/05 CD Lugo - SD Eibar
Cuartos de Final - Vuelta (27/05/2012)
27/05 RB Linense - SD Amorebieta
27/05 SD Eibar - CD Lugo
27/05 Orihuela CF - Albacete Balompié
27/05 CD Tenerife - CF Badalona
27/05 SD Ponferradina - Real Jaén CF
27/05 Lucena CF - Huracán Valencia CF
Semifinales - Ida (03/06/2012)
Semifinales - Vuelta (10/06/2012)
Finales - Ida (17/06/2012)
Finales - Vuelta (24/06/2012)

Now when all games are played we will have 6 semi finalists, so I assume that the 2 losers from the champions games will drop down automatically to our semi finals!!!

I see that WHEN we beat Badalona, we will have either Real Madrid, or Cadiz in the Semi Finals ... !!!!

bonitatime

Not a chance in the second round we will have either of those. The reason it was so important we were 2nd was so we got the lowere ranked teams in the first 2 draws
I think Cadiz will go through first time
