Can anyone recommend an electrician that repairs microwave ovens?

They are normally not worth repairing, new ones are so cheap, same as
most things these days.

I must agree with delderek,microwave ovens are very costly to repair,if the magantron is gone then it cannot be repaired very cheaply,best to buy a new one.

Inside the casing there is usually a small surge fuse - maybe that has gone - I replaced mine 2 years ago and itīs still going - otherwise itīs cheaper to buy a new one.

Thank you for your replies. The problem is two-fold. The door catch is dodgy and the turntable isn't turning. I am looking into the link supplied.

DON`T go delving inside unless you know what you are doing...there`s a big meaty capacitor in there that stays charged up..!
