View Full Version : Animal Chat Urgent advice needed
We have just found a bird on our terrace that is injured, probably by a cat and have no idea what to do next. I have managed to get him off the floor and into a box, but i am worried because we have four cats. Any ideas???
nikki I am sorry you have not had a reply! I haven't got a clue either,my guess is if it can't fly it has no chance of surviving. It might not last the night birds are so fragile.:sorry:

This is the only information I can find----Anyone who spots injured birds on their travels around Tenerife should call 922 445 777 or even 112.When we found an injured Seagull we rang the Police and they came and collected it and they take them to a Bird Sanctuary.
Thanks primrose I have kept these numbers...just in case!
Thanks for the numbers Primrose, well he made it through the night will see what today brings.

That's good news nikki! it might have been more shock than anything! what sort of bird is it?
Just to let you know, the little bird was a baby pigeon, it's foot was all bent and looked as though he had been attacked by a cat. We called the number given by Primrose and the guy from the rescue centre came and picked him up..Phew!!! Thanks again Primrose, don't know what we would have done otherwise.
