Does anyone have information about sending items in cargo?

hi there,
i was just wondering dose anybody know if it is possible to send maybe two or three boxes in cargo or has anyone done this?where in the airport could i find out about this?a few years ago when i was moving home from Thailand i sent three very large and heavy boxes through like this and was quite cheap.

It probably will not be at the airport, but if you google airfreight agents in the area you are in, you will find many, and yes as you say could be very cheap, probably only 10% of what you would be charged as baggage. But you need to watch the clearance charges at destination.
