Mr. Cainaries has expressed an interest in registering on the Forum and posting in his own right. However, we only have the one computer. Is it possible for him to do this or should we just stick to signing off our posts (like Tom and Sharon do) so that readers know which one of us has posted.

i think that if you have separate emailadresses you can make more accounts for login in on the forum. any computers gives the possibility of having more users .

It isn't a problem.

Every time that someone logs in withan IP address that is used by someone else, we are always notified. We soon get to know who is the 'partner' of someone else or who is visiting someone else and using their computer

Thanks, Mike. This may be a one-minute wonder with him - we shall find out soon enough.

Mrs. Cainaries (I'm never going to remember to do this, he has to get his own ID).

To explain the situation simply.

When the same computer is used by 2 different account holders it is flagged up and checked.

Once we are happy it's not a duplicate account or spammer it is cleared.

It is not automatically blocked but brought to our attention.

It is all part of the spamblock we have which saves us a mountain of time.

you won't make any mistakes.

When the same computer or IP are used by 2 members it is always flagged for investigation.

Mine has been, in the past, when a friend used mine.

Bugger of a job but someone has to sort it...:snore::)
