Any ex-pats with children around 11-14 yrs living in los cristianos/las americas?

Planning to move out in the next 6 months, coming out for a month in August & would love to meet a family with children similiar ages to ask advice, eg. schooling options, work options, registering, expenses, health insurance etc.

Any advice appreciated.

Don't plan to move out here until you have made sure that you are really well informed.Unless,that is,you are very comfortably off!!! After almost 30 years here I have to say that it's more dificult now than it has ever been and with children at a really important stage in their education it will be a huge risk.Many people will say that this is a negative response but I see families in serious trouble every day and would hate to see you join them.
