Corpus Christi in Adeje was last weekend , la Orotava was during week - I think you have missed it for this year - check San Isidro for today , might be on .

The ones in Adeje are made from coloured salt ,overlaid on a stencil - I was lucky enough to be involved in constructing one 2 years ago when studying Spanish at Cultural Centre in Adeje -took 10 people over 6 hrs!- they are constructed on the Friday , viewed on Saturday then procession walks over them on Sunday - gone by Monday !
A great way to integrate locals and visitors !
