Hi everyone.
I am hoping to move out to Tenerife within the next 6 months.
I will be living with my elderly parents.
I therefore have no accomodation issues, but was wondering about the best/cheapest way to bring small personal items over with me?
To include such things as small household goods.
Thanks in advance

It depends how many boxes/sizes you are talking about. I had a few boxes flown over with me with Monarch. It was very reasonable, the only downside was, you cannot take the items away with you when you land. It took 2 days to clear customs and take someone with you who can speak spanish.

Thanks for that. Did you call Monarch to arrange this?

I would recommend a freight forwarder call Fast Lane. Their website is easy to use http://www.wedelivertheworld.co.uk and you get a quote online, it take seconds.

As an example I typed in 4 boxes of equal size and weight each box was 20kg 60cm x 60cm x 60cm and the quote was £272. These will be delivered to your destination address.

Be warned there are always hidden charges "welcome to Spain"

Hi,

yes, I just called Customer Service Dept and they were really helpful, however, remember that you are responsible for collecting the items. Carpenter's idea at least means its delivered to your door?
