I like comedy shows and have been watching Curb your Enthusiasm recently. Its from the bloke of created Seinfeld who plays an exaggerated version of himself. It is incredibly good and very funny! Well worth checking out (let me know if you dont know where to watch it.

Also watch the US version of The Office - also excellent.

Anyone watch either of these?

Not my kind of comedy

Now, The Good Wife - superb writing & acting - is more to my liking

Theres a new one airing now in the US called Workaholics - 3 dopeheads/****heads working for a telesales company and just being a bit dim. I quite enjoy that one too. Havent seen the Good wife - will have a look.
I quite like Dr Who - watch that every week, enjoy a lot of sci-fi.

I like all of those too. Been watching bones for age but have about two seasons to catch up on. Fringe I think is excellent - reminds me of X-files but better characters - esp Walter!

Nearly missed this season of Bones because they've put it on Living and not Sky1. I love Walter in Fringe too, his random things he says make me laugh.

Breaking bad, one of the finest shows ever IMO. Also Justified started last night on MBC action and looks good.

after buying a treadmill last year i needed something to watch for an hour to keep me occupied, so i went on to e-bay and amazon llooking for box sets, and i picked out some great series, here are some of my favorites
the wire, fantastic acting and a great story
Rome, some great characters, has inspired me to look at getting some roman tattoo's lol
bergerac, all 9 series, i was always a big fan of john nettles
lovejoy, this was a fantastic series and like bergerac i watch again and again
24, with keifer sutherland i got hooked on this
and the totally brilliant prison break, every single character in this series was played superbly and although T bag was the most devious one he was my favorite:c2:

:

IMO the greatest TV show ever. Watched the whole 50 odd hours 4 times and still see things I missed before. Try Breaking bad, it is on the same level.

Haven't see The Wire but Breaking Bad is definitely one of the best shows I have seen.
Dexter is another if you haven't caught that yet.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the funniest shows on the box as well if you want something a bit lighter - well worth checking out. Heres some completely illegal clips to give you an idea of the humour... (not safe for work!):
