We have eight flights booked at various times during the coming November/February period and during the last few days have received notification from the carrier that the timings from seven of them have been altered.
On investigation it appears they have two flights on Fridays but they have swapped the flight numbers.
So those booked on the early flights have to go later and, probably, vice versa. According to their website they are still offering seats at our original times but will not allow passengers to transfer back to their booked, more convenient times.
Upon telephoning we were informed that they have every right to do what they like and no, you cannot speak to a manager.
Sound like a spot of "big company disease."
Be aware!!

That's the trouble with Charter flights. Many of the timings listed, don't actually exist, and final timings only made nearer the date, and then maybe changed again very near the date.

We booked mon-fri trip to Tenerife for November, flying with Ryanair(first time with Ryanair) received an email about Spanish tax to find our flight was now on Tuesday, which was no use to us. Phoned Ryanair and they changed our flight to Sunday with no charge so we get extra night, well impressed !

Thanks for replies. Very interesting. All my lot have now sworn not to use Thomson any more and try Easyjet or Ryanair

One of the worst Airlines for doing this is Iberia. We have flown several times to Tenerife via Madrid and selected flights at specific times for a premium price to get better times. Every single time our flight times were changed to less convenient ones which we could have booked in the first place for a lot less. Total con by the airline. Stopped using them after they lost all our luggage as well!
