Are there buses from Santa Cruz bus station to Ikea? We would be travelling from Tenerife South to the bus station. Does anyone know the times of the buses, and the bus number?

Many thanks for any help.

If you download the leaflet : http://www.titsa.com/inic/download.php?idfichero=778

You need the stop for Geneto or Las Chumberas.

It looks like the 055 goes to Geneto, but you have to change at La Laguna.

the 230 and 233 go to Las Chumberas.

There's probably a tranvia stop there too, but it takes about 45 mins to get there. A taxi is probably quicker (10 mins) and only a few euros.

Here's the tranvia website (it's in English) : http://www.metrotenerife.com/

You can use your bono on the tranvia too.

The tranvia map is rubbish. It's really hard to see the stop names... I'm sure it's Geneto, rather than Chumberas where Ikea is... can someone else confirm?

No... I was right the first time. Las Chumberas. It says so on the Ikea website.

:)

But... you might want to see my NEW THREAD (http://www.tenerifeforum.org/tenerife-forum/showthread.php?18337-No-more-long-trips-up-North-Ikea-in-Tenerife-now-let-you-buy-online!), about something I've just seen on the Ikea website... it might save you the trip :D
